I designed a custom robot pendant holder (left) in Siemens NX for use inside a nuclear facility. It was built to mount the controller for a 6-axis Fanuc M-1000iA robot, with careful consideration for cable routing, operator ergonomics, and long-term durability. I selected PETG for its radiation resistance and 3D printed the part using an FDM process to validate fit and function. The design met all operational and environmental requirements, and gave me hands-on experience with CAD modeling, GD&T, material selection, and design for additive manufacturing in a high-stakes setting.
