I designed custom 3D models for a toppings compartment system built for a robot-powered Subway Maker. The components were developed to withstand repeated actuation while integrating cleanly into the larger robotic assembly.
All parts were modelled in SolidWorks and evaluated using SolidWorks FEA to assess fatigue performance under repeated loading. The analysis ensured the components could handle continuous use without premature failure, informing final geometry and material choices.
After validation, the parts were 3D printed and integrated into the full robot assembly. I also programmed the complete system functionality in C, enabling coordinated control of the toppings mechanism and bringing the robot to full operational status.
